How it works

Electrical distributionFrom the utility transformer to the main switchboard, sub-boards and loads, with 2R's power logger at the incomer.
  1. Transformer (utility intake) · where the building takes power from the grid
  2. Main switchboard (MSB) · distributes power to the whole building
  3. Power logger · logs kW, kWh and power factor over days: Meatrol Mi550 / Fluke 430 Series II
  4. Load profile · the logged data shows when and where energy is used
  5. Sub-boards · feed each area or system, measured one by one
  6. Loads · chillers, motors, lighting: where the energy ends up
