Air handlingAir from the air handling unit through the supply duct to the room and back, and where 2R checks airflow.
  1. Air handling unit (AHU) · blows air across the chilled-water coil and into the building
  2. Fan motor + VSD · varies the fan speed with demand instead of running flat out
  3. Cooling coil · chilled water in, cooled and dried air out
  4. Supply duct · carries conditioned air to the rooms
  5. Ceiling diffusers · spread the supply air across the room
  6. Return air · room air goes back to the AHU to be cooled again
  7. Room sensor · temperature or CO₂ reading that tells the AHU how hard to work
  8. Anemometer · air speed at the diffusers, to check the airflow: UNI-T UT363

LightingLED panels over the desks, an occupancy sensor, daylight from the windows and the lighting board, with 2R's lux meter.
  1. LED panels · efficient fittings, at the light level the task needs
  2. Occupancy sensor · switches lights off in empty areas
  3. Daylight · lights near the windows can dim when there's enough daylight
  4. Lighting board · where lighting circuits are measured and scheduled
  5. Lux meter · measures light levels at the desk: Kyoritsu 5202
